Yesterday after an afternoon visiting Blackwater, I saw a Snowy Egret on the
West side of Hoopers Island Road approximately 1 mile North of Tyler Cove. I
was northbound and stopped on the shoulder to check it out when a truck
flashed by ‹ the egret flew a short distance then settled down again.
