**NOTE** The North Cell are drying up now (85% very dry) and possible will be for years. MES crew want it to be dry to improve the ground. Will not be good for many months unless we get really heavy rain to bring it back temporary for shorebirds. The South Cell is still high and lack of shorebirds. Thousands of ducks still there and not sure if the MES crew will drain the pond to exposed mudflats. No sign of water poured out of South Cell pipe but are poured out of pipe at North Cell. If plan for next visit, we may end up walking around South Cell several times. Lack of birds at North Cell for 4 miles and so boring as we're not seeing anything on north side. Gene Scarpulla may get more info soon.
