Well it was promising until it started to rain anyway!
Woodcreeper.com confirmed via radar that there was a major movement of
birds into the mid-atlantic region last night.

Had best migration day of the year this morning outside my window:
Baltimore Oriole, Prairie Warbler, and Blue-headed Vireo (last two were
yard birds), along with singing kinglets and butterbutts. Looks like
some of the later migrants are finally starting to get here (by
"finally" I don't mean they're late--just that they're arriving later
than we want them to!). The oriole is first eBird report of the year
for Mont. Co. My yard also had first eBird report last year--though it
was the 25th last year. It probably helps to have a window that makes
me eye-level with the treetops, where these guys seem to prefer hanging out.

Good birding!
