A nice day for species if not for numbers. Some birds included:

NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (1)
WORM-EATING WARBLER (1, maybe a 2nd)
Parula
Louisiana
Yellow-Rumped

White-Eyed Vireo
Blue-Headed

A year ago this was also a good place for NoWa and Worm. The Northern was the most fun today. I was lucky to find it--just happened to see it be-bopping along the creek--it wasn't singing. Enjoyed watching it for several minutes--a distinct Nothern. Then it proffered a song, which was a real treat. This little area can certainly be good sometimes. If only there were't traffic noise--other birds were around that I couldn't "get"--the traffic, rain, poor lighting at times.
