Yesterday (4/20) while birding with Jim Peters, we had a close-up flyby of
the Pied Crow. It was being harassed by an adult Herring Gull and made calm
and casual evasive dips and turns. The Crow did not appear to be carrying
food and Herring Gull did not pursuit it far.
The Canvasback that is still at the Fort has a damaged wing; but seems to be
getting better.
