Greetings,
A quick note to mention the new arrivals to our yard on Hances Point south of North East in Cecil County.
Yesterday, I heard a House Wren for the first time, today there were at least two, maybe three. One was nest-building (practice?) in a very old nest box that I recently salvaged from my grandmother's yard. I also had at least three Parulas singing as well as the same number of Yellow-rumped Warblers. Two Phoebes have seemed to taken up residence in the yard as well, though, I have yet to see any sign of nesting...
Have a good day!
