I too had a kettle of Broad-wings fly over (about 15 birds, early afternoon). Later in the afternoon an Osprey flew over too! Had some TV's and a single Black Vulture as well.

Best bird though; around 4 PM, my wife called to tell me there was a Wild Turkey walking into my neighbors woods, seen by her as she was getting the mail, down the hill from our yard. I couldn't get out in time to find it (I tried), so it remains on my "heard only " yard list birds. Well done Nancy!

I opened up the 45th St Hawk Watch while I was at home for lunch today. In
bout 15-20 minutes of viewing, I saw 6 Broad-winged Hawks, 2 Black Vultures,
nd 1 Osprey. The Osprey was one of my most wanted yard birds. The hawks
oved north into Montgomery County, but the Osprey was headed southwest toward
he Potomac River.
