Hi all,

Made a short trip to Aspen Hill to see what species were in the area.
It was a nice morning to be out birding.

Aspen Hill Rec Area, off Aspen Hill Rd.

3 Rufous sided Towhees
1 Swamp Sparrow
6+ Blue gray Gnatcatchers
2 White breasted Nuthatches
1 Ruby crowned Kinglet (singing that adorable song)
2 White throated Sparrow
American Goldfinches (abundant)
1 Red shouldered Hawk
4 Northern Cardinals
3 Carolina Chickadees  (one carrying nest material)
1 Tufted Titmouse
2 Red bellied Woodpeckers
