On Thursday and Friday, April 22 and 23, Lydia Schindler and I visited Swamps and Marshes in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Dorchester counties.  The first day, we covered the swamp in North West Worcester County, covered in Claudia Wilds book, then dropping down to Shad Landing, Blades Road and over to Milburn Landing and ending at Deal Island.  The weather was superb, the birds were singing and it was a delightful trip.  Highlights for Day 1 include:
