Birded the trail from Cherry Hill Rd to the Univ. of MD 
today with Marcy, Winger, and Ryan.  Highlights included 
about 30 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, 1 GREEN HERON, and 1 HOUSE WREN 
at the swamp, flyover OSPREY and DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANT, a 
couple WHITE-EYED VIREOS, and 1 each of SAVANNAH and SWAMP 
SPARROW.  The only warblers were NORTHERN PARULA and 
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER.  Full eBird report below.

Observation date:    4/22/10
Notes:    First time on the trail in a long while.  Started 
off cool and foggy, but cleared by 9 am.  Birded the first 2 
miles (from Cherry Hill Rd) with Marcy & Winger; Ryan joined 
partway for a while.  May have heard Eastern Towhee, Indigo 
Bunting, and Chipping Sparrow.  Ryan also saw Red-shouldered 
Hawk and Yellow-rumped Warbler (2).  Also saw a Painted 
Turtle (and tadpoles and squirrels).  May have glimpsed a 
Woodchuck.
