I was startled this morning when I walked down our driveway and heard a loud
"kek-kek-kek" just before a Cooper's Hawk flew over my head and into the
trees on the other side of our house. Is it possible we have a nesting Coop
on the property? If so, that doesn't bode well for our feeder birds next
winter!

 

I heard my FOY Ovenbirds in the woods around our house yesterday-I think
there were two of them. No Wood Thrushes yet, which seems quite late.
