Hi all,
Yesterday AM, a small flock of male Bobolinks flew over almost before I could get on them. Right over the yard though.
In the late afternoon, I saw my FOY male Baltimore Oriole flying along my neighbors yard, then heard a pair of Orchard Orioles in my yard, also FOY.

This morning I was out in the yard early, and saw several firsts of the season, including Green Heron, Red-eyed Vireo, Great-crested Flycatcher, and Gray Catbird. Also saw (and heard) several Baltimore Orioles in the yard, another flyover (right over my head!) male Bobolink, singing in flight, a single Cedar Waxwing (I didn't know such a thing existed), Ruby-crowned Kinglet, several Eastern Kingbirds, House Wren, Carolina Wren, Tree and Barn Swallows, E. Bluebirds (2 active nests in our yard boxes), Brown Thrasher, Chipping, Song and White-throated Sparrows,
Downy, Red-bellied and N. Flicker, large numbers of Blue Jays, in the yard and flying over, plus all the regulars. 34 species as of 9 AM, but leaving soon for errands.
