 Bob,
      Very interesting.  Sounds like the same bird that followed me to the 
towpath (Horsepen Hiker-Biker) on April 17 when I was walking from the 
parking lot at Hughes Hollow to the river.   One thing that struck me about 
this bird was that it seemed to have some sense that people might be a 
threat.  Would be worthwhile for people to report this peahen if they see 
it.
