I know that Friday's southerlies brought in lots of migrants, but one I did 
 not expect showed up at Riley's at 5:30PM today.  As I stepped off the  
bridge over Seneca Creek a large bird walked out onto the towpath.  It was  a 
mostly white pea hen!  I made a few steps and it non-challantly walked  back 
into the brush and was actively feeding.  When I returned twenty or so  
minutes later it was gone.
 
Be on the lookout, even though I don't think this is a countable!
