Hi all --

Barry and I just returned from over 3 weeks' out of the country and are
astonished to find that neither of our two House Wren boxes (carefully
cleaned in early April) are occupied. Neither is our neighbor's wren house.
Barry walked through the neighborhood this morning and said he didn't hear
any House Wrens singing, either.

Both our two wren houses have been occupied every year since we moved here
in 1993, so this is rather unprecedented.

What are others finding re their own "local" wrens?
