House wrens:  during the atlas I had house wrens breeding in ALL of my Calvert blocks.  Before and since then they have been scarce after migration.
 
EXCEPT:  Cove Point a few blocks before the lighthouse (Lighthouse blvd) is the best bet for a breeder.  There is always a pair there all summer

As for the elusive rock pigeon, I couldn't find them at  Asbury, so I went down to the bridge, and, lo and behold,    the pigeons have returned to the TJ Bridge!!  Isn't that exciting?
