Patuxent Research Refuge north tract continues to deliver warblers. A morning hike along South Road and a stop at the first marsh along Wildlife Drive yielded magnolia, prairie, black and white, black-throated green, yellow-rumped myrtle warblers, redstart, northern parula, and a male bay-breasted warbler in full breeding plumage. Other birds of interest included male Baltimore orioles and a scarlet tanager.
