Jim and all,
So happens that me and my fly rod will be invading Garrett County next
weekend. The only map I have of Garrett County is an old worn topo thing I
picked up in a store in Oakland many years ago. I've used it mainly to
locate streams that nobody else knows about (I hope).
However this old thing does not show a Muddy Creek Road say nothing of a
"John Deere portion" of it. There is a Muddy Creek up near Cranesville Swamp
that flows east across Cranesville Rd. I figure this must be the general
region. It is well north of Oakland by quite a bit. If anybody can give me
specific directions to the John Deere Portion of Muddy Creek Road I will
hunt down the Nashville in question. I just hope I don't need my John Deere
tractor to travel on it. It won't fit in the back of my truck.
And don't nobody be warning the trout that I'm coming. At my age I need
every advantage.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Nashville Warbler in Garrett County
Hi Everybody: I am working all weekend but I just read an email that Karen &
Billl Harris sent me and asked me to post. They had a Nashville Warbler on
the John Deere portion of Muddy Creek Road (Oakland area) this morning that
was "acting like it was on territory". No other info was given. |
