Location: Rocky Gorge Reservoir - T. Howard Duckett Dam
Observation date: 5/22/10
Notes: Went to Rocky Gorge Reservoir T. Howard Duckett Dam after reading Dan
Haas' report of 6 common ravens on West Bond Mill Road. Parked in parking lot
and walked to bleachers closest to the dam. Saw one Common Raven almost
immediately sitting in dead tree to the right of the cel tower. Noticed the
bird started calling and suddenly the rest of the family flew in. I walked
across the field kitty-corner to get a better look down into the dam. Sometimes
the ravens perched on the green catwalk. Somtimes they flew up and sat on the
dam. When I left the two adults were sitting in a tree on the otherside of the
water.
