After spraining my ankle pretty badly, I couldn't physically get out to
see Fred's Common Moorhen until this morning. I found it in the same
spot that Fred described. This is the second Moorhen in the county this
year, which is amazing because they are so hard to find, despite them
being possible breeders. Arctic Tern and Common Moorhen in the same
week...way to go Fred!!

While at the pond, I also had a flyover Great Egret and a juvenile
Little Blue Heron being harassed by a Red-winged Blackbird until it was
forced to leave the pond.
