Joanne, the crane was on the front page of the local paper on Friday--I
guess we had a slow news day. I was glad it was recognized but also
concerned about having quite that much publicity. I tried to include
messages about respecting wildlife. Most of people in the park are
respectful of the bird and enjoy seeing it, but sadly there are always a few
jerks who don't get it. 

I am glad it was there when you arrived.
