I went to see the crane.  There was a birder/photographer stalking it.  I
pulled up closer to the bird in my auto (staying on the road) and shut
off the ignition.  It immediately walked over to within 50 ft of the
auto and seemed to wait for something and then wandered off.

Is this tame nature usual?
