Hi everyone,

I spent the morning birding the Somerset County marshes starting at
daybreak on Green Dumpster Rd at Deal and ending around noon at
Rumbley Point Rd.
Top birds include:

Least Bittern -- 1 Rumbley Point Rd
Wild Turkey -- 3 Rumbley Point Rd
Cooper's Hawk -- 1 Riley Robert's Rd
Common Moorhen -- 2 Green Dumpster Rd
Semipalmated Plover -- 13 Riley Robert's Rd
Black-necked Stilt -- 4 Green Dumpster Rd
Yellow Warbler -- 5 Riley Robert's Rd
Orchard Oriole -- 2 Riley Robert's Rd
Baltimore Oriole -- 1 Riley Robert's Rd

While birding in Somerset I received a text message from Tom Field
saying that he found a pair of Wilson's Phalaropes at Truitt's
Landing.

When I arrived at Truitt's around 1pm there was still one Wilson's
Phalarope feeding with the shorebird flock and the juvenile White Ibis
was present feeding with the Glossy Ibis flock. I could not find the
White-faced Ibis found by Jim Stasz. The Glossy flock was quite
active with birds coming and leaving constantly so the White-faced may
still be around.
