Took a couple hours off work to explore CBEC (Chesapeake Bay Env. Center - Horsehead), especially after the report's from Frank & Bob.

Am. White Pelican was still present along with a nice variety of shorebirds. Notables included Stilt, Pectoral, White-rumped and Solitary. Very nice seeing all these shorebirds in the same field of view! Bob was right, there are some very nice Stilt and Pectoral plumages.

While there, a Greylag Domestic Goose flew in with a flock of Canadian Geese. The Greylag was very vocal and ornery. The bird didn't stay long.
