Hi all,

Briefly birderd a couple of places yesterday; lots of people in the park, hence not too many birds. Best birds at Aspen Hill in Rockville: Philiadelpha Vireo  (chowing down on a Katydid)  and Ches, sided Warbler, Red shouldered Hawk.
The butterflies were more numerous by far!

At Lois Y Green Conservation Park in G'burg (off 115) the tally was a little better:

Great Egret 1 (1st large pond)
Northern Mockingbird
Turkey Vulture
Great Blue Heron

2nd Pond: Green Heron 1
Great blue Heron
Canada Geese  8
Mallard 12
Red shouldered Hawk
Gray Catbirds (many)
Field sparrow
Amercican Goldfinch
