Activity was average (e.g. 8 warbler species) when I was there today--but some nice birds presented themselves:

Yellow-Billed Cuckoo
Yellow-Bellied Flycatcher (enjoyable close study)
Veery
Philadelphia Vireo
Nashville Warbler (longlasting view and very close, gorgeous)

Moreover, it was enjoyable to hear the happy song of a few Warbling Vireos. Several Brown Thrashers weren't singing, but they were flying and hopping all over the place, around their "usual" spot. I ran into a couple who saw a Wilson's Warbler at the bridge. Circling Broadwings in numbers, off and on. Close view of a Swamp Sparrow was enjoyable. 4 Hummers. I saw a couple of empids that I couldn't ID and doubt anyone else could have with certainty since there were no vocals and the views short.

All good birding,
