I found a Connecticut Warbler this morning at Patuxent Ponds Park in Anne Arundel County. It was at the back of the big pond and could be seen from the path. A singing Hooded Warbler first brought my attention to that area. Dan Haas was able to re-find the bird about an hour later.
I spent the first part of the morning at Piney Orchard Nature Preserve, where the highlights included a Tennessee Warbler and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. The mudflats in the pond had 2 Solitary Sandpipers and a Great Egret.
