Hi --

Acting on Jim Moore's post, we went up to Tridelphia Lake Road and followed
his directions to this great shorebird habitat. I think we got there about 4
PM and the light was perfect. No land birds about but the shorebirds were
still numerous:

WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER - 1
BAIRD'S SANDPIPER - 1
WESTERN SANDPIPER - 1
Least Sandpiper - 50+
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 20 or so? (most were distant)
Pectoral Sandpiper - 15+
Spotted Sandpiper - 3
Solitary Sandpiper - 3
Lesser Yellowlegs - 3
Killdeer - 15-20

10 Species of shorebird in Montgomery County is a great tally -- !
