Hi all --

Certainly not as active as the past few days at WRP, Montgomery Co., but
still -- any time you see two PHILADELPHIA VIREOS in the same tree as well
as a couple of good Empids it's a great day! We left a bit early (about
9:15) and did not see any Broadwings -- also no obvious diurnal flight of
Robins as there had been yesterday just after sunrise.

Birds of Interest:

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Cooper's Hawk - 1 (fly-over)
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1 (fly-over)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 2
Yellow-shafted Flicker - 15
Eastern Wood-pewee - 3 (very large decline in past week)
Eastern Phoebe - 1
LEAST FLYCATCHER - 1
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER - 1 (appeared to be same individual as before,
same place as last three days, though this time high up in tulip tree)
Empid. sp - 2
Brown Thrasher - 4
House Wren - 9
Red-eyed Vireo - 8
BLUE-HEADED VIREO - 1
PHILADELPHIA VIREO - 2 (together)
Black-and-White Warbler - 5
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 2
Magnolia Warbler - 15
Nashville Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 4
American Redstart - 10
Common Yellowthroat - 10+
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 10
Chipping Sparrow - 12+

Fewer Robins and Catbirds around...
