Morning all,
Yesterday AM I had to leave early for physical therapy and work in Montgomery County so didn't have much time to bird the yard, but wish I had. In the short walk around the yard I found yard bird #132, a very pale grayish first fall Pine Warbler, hanging out in our near-dead bradford pear tree with Chipping Sparrows, bluebirds, E. Phoebe and a single Scarlet Tanager.

Later on the drive home I stopped at Triadelphia Lake Rd around 2 PM, where I was lucky enough to spot a single White-rumped Sandpiper, along with one Western, a few Semipalmated Sands, many Least, a few Pectorals, a single Solitary (redundant?) and a single Lesser Yellowlegs. John Dennehy spotted a pair of Spotted (!) as did Fred Fallon, but I was initially in a different viewing spot so I did not see them. Most of these birds were on the Howard County side of the water (this is the lowest I have ever seen this part of the reservoir, and I used to bird here regularly).

We also had a good flight of hawks, with 2 large kettles of Broadwings moving from the Howard side to the Montgomery side, as well as 2 different Bald Eagles, several Osprey, a single Sharp-shinned flying at the edge of the woods on the Montgomery side.

Still seeing hummers in the yard too. With the warm weather the next few days I expect many will be passing through.
