Birded a variety of spots the last couple days.
iddle Patuxent yesterday morning hoping for sparrows and thrushes.
o move in the field areas of sparrows. One WOOD THRUSH along the river but no
nflux yet. A few warblers , primarily REDSTART and MAGNOLIAS...and some
ingering flycatchers with PEWEE and ACADIAN by stop 13.
The Howard Conservancy was also low on sparrows....mainly the resident SONGS
nd CHIPPING. It is one of the best places to find Lincoln's though...hopefully
oon! There was an amazing caterpillar..one of the most beautiful I have seen.

Also checked Meadowbrook in hopes of sparrows...yet again not much yet. It is
nother fairly reliable spot for Lincoln's ..and provides easy walking.
Soon the sparrows should be here!
