This Sunday I discovered how birdy Wheaton Regional Park can be. The highlight was a beautiful red shouldered hawk in the middle of Brookside gardens oblivious to passers-by. It caught a frog while I was watching.

Lots of flickers, downies, red-bellied wp, pileated wp 
Carolina and house wren 
Ruby crowned and golden crowned kinglets

Phoebes  
Black throated blue Warbler 
Magnolia warbler 
Immature black poll warbler 
Palm warblers 
Common yellowthroat 
Lots of chipping sparrows 
White throated sparrow 
Goldfinch, robins,  catbird, mockingbirds, bluebird, mourning doves, mallards, blue jays and crows
