I wonder if there's a pattern of pine w's and palms enjoying each others' company. I think it was 2 springs ago that I was at Ladew and saw a bunch of birds--maybe 20-30 if memory serves--active on or near the ground in a pine area; they were roughly split btw pine and palm. TH

they finally showed at the wilson's mill field. at least 5 or more palm warblers and i had a good birding experience when i was able to see a palm and a pine together right in front of me in the grass path. saw over 20 kinds of birds in about 1/2 an hour in and around that field today. a few days ago, i got a lincoln,s sparrow at little bennett near the kingsley parking lot.
