Hi all

I've had WB Nuthatch in recent days, but so far no RBNH...

On Saturday, i had a hummer (assume RT) at the feeder on at least two occasions...first observed in more than a week.

I also heard Canadas in flight today (Sunday) when i was out working on a shed re-siding project, but with so many of the non-migratory types around, i didn't bother to scope them out...could have been some of the migratory types seen by others, i suppose. When i heard them, my thoughts turned to anticipation of the coming of the Tundra Swans actually.

Saturday very late i heard a Mockingbird singing. No moon was present, could he/she have been reacting to JUPITER...???

Large flocks of Cowbirds were present on the NIH Bethesda campus in the last 10-14 days.

Looking forward to my first of the season fire in the woodstove insert tomorrow - FALL IS HERE!
