We saw lots of birds on the ANS walk this morning. Flickers, Phoebes, Catbirds and Palm Warblers were everywhere, Other warblers seen were Magnolia, BT Blue (male and female), Yellowthroat (male and female) and a stunning male Cape May. Other birds of note: BH Vireo, YT Vireo, Cedar Waxwing, both Kinglets (we literally had dozens in and around a medium sized tree near the second impoundment that was experiencing some sort of insect bloom), Green-winged Teal, Ruddy Duck, B Grebe, White-thr. Sparrow and Swamp Sparrow. Butterflies: Monarch, Clouded Sulphur, Orange Sulphur, Cabbage White, Buckeye and Pearl Crescent.
