I had a female R-T hummingbird at my backyard feeder today in Silver Spring.
It's getting late so perhaps it's of interest.

Had 2 parrots of some sort in Ballston (Arlington, VA) free flying this
morning.

I'll also mention this incase anyone's trying to think of new places to go
birding---I just returned from a work trip to Utah and in the years I've been
seriously birding (6) and all the states I've traveled (47), I've never seen
more birds in North America than along the causeway to Antelope Island in the
Great Salt Lake. Thousands of shovelers, and many tens of thousands (hundreds
of thousands?) of both eared grebes and American avocets. Thousands of
red-necked phalaropes. Really a spectacle.
