Hi All,
This afternoon at about 5:30 I saw a Yellow-headed Blackbird in a fairly
large flock of mixed birds. The flock was in a field adjacent to Route
5 between Long Neck Road Cornfield Harbor Roads in Scotland. This flock
consisted mostly of Brown-headed Cowbirds and European Starlings with
lesser numbers of Red-winged Blackbirds. I had 3 brief looks at the
Yellow-headed Blackbird before a Merlin scattered the flock and I lost
it completely.
Good Birding,
Patty Craig
