I'm sitting in my office at DC Childrens when my window gets buzzed by a
very small, very dark streaked brown-and-white raptor with a heavily
barred tail.  I am pretty confident it was a merlin, but it was only a
split-second look.  It was getting chased by two crows.  It was MUCH
smaller than the crows.  Perhaps he was hanging out at the nearby
reservior.  Now my productivity is going to go way down - more
window-watching and less typing.  I sure hope I get a better look...
