Morning all,
Just time for a quick walk around the yard this morning, but my very first bird (like yesterday at Blue Mash) was an immature White-crowned Sparrow, perched atop our thriving blackberries on the fence. It flew off over the house, heading in a NW direction. A few minutes later as I approached the blackberries, I saw movement down low on the other side of the fence, near the base of a tree. A green above/yellowish below warbler with a gray hood and complete white eye ring made my heart race, momentarily, until better looks proved it to be a late(ish) Nashville Warbler, which posed on a branch for a long while allowing very good looks (none of the field guides mention that they can have yellow/whitish feet, though Sibley does illustrate this) . Just below this bird was another WC Sparrow, on the ground under a shrubby area.

Gotta run,
