A perfect morning for the participants, led by Ruth Bergstrom, to check out the birds at Oregon Ridge. The most surprising bird was a Marsh Wren. And the prettiest were the Blue-Headed Vireos. No siskins yet at the feeders at Vis Center. Good sparrow habitat, but no interesting ones today that we could find. Some of the birds:
Marsh Wren (1)
Blue-Headed Vireo (3)
Palm Warbler (1)
Sapsucker (1)
Brown Creeper (2-3)
Swainson's Thrush (4)
Hairy Woodpecker (1)
Cedar Waxwings
Red-Winged Blackbirds
Sharp-Shinned Hawk (1)
