I spent a couple early hours at Sands Rd. Park yesterday (Saturday) and wanted to mention that I also located a Vesper Sparrow, along the west tree edge across the field from the parking lot. I also had Field, Song, Savannah, Swamp, Towhee, Junco, and a single Grasshopper Sparrow as I was leaving, to the south of the parking lot along the edge of the water by the concrete blocks. Also flushed a flock of 23 Meadowlarks, out about half way across the field. One Blackpoll and one Palm were the only warblers.
