Wayne's Eastern Meadowlark is still in the grass scrub next to the first football field outside Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in DC. There is an American Kestrel there as well. No luck on the Vesper Sparrow. Great spot Wayne. I haven't seen an Eastern Meadowlark in the region for almost 20 years.

Although Kingman and Heritage Islands in the Anacostia River are still closed to the public, there were some great migrants this morning which should be coming down the river soon.
