Hello MD Osprey:

Several people have pointed out to me that I made an error when I
recently updated the MD/DC Records Committee database to comply with
the AOU 51st Supplement. The posted versions of the MD/DCRC Official
Lists show that the newly split Pacific Wren is on the MD and DC
lists. This is wrong; I incorrectly implemented the AOU's split of
Winter Wren into Winter Wren and Pacific Wren. Both lists should
indicate Winter Wren.

I'll make the database correction and then have the updated Official
Lists reposted on our web page, shortly.

Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks.

Phil

PS: On a personal note, Barbara and I just returned from 3-1/2 weeks
in the Galapagos and northern Ecuador. An amazing trip! ...over 600
species of birds, all 30 of the Galapagos endemics, 62 species of
hummingbirds, and almost 60 species of tanagers! Still wading through
thousands of still images and many hours of Barbara's video footage!
