I opened the 45th St Hawk Watch for a few minutes at lunch today and was 
rewarded with two new yards birds.   The first, an adult Bald Eagle, has been 
my most wanted yard bird for a good part of the 6+ years I've lived in DC.  The 
second was more unexpected --  a Common Loon flying hard to the south.   Too bad 
I had to go back to work.
