<p>A question about Pine Siskins.  This am two Pine Siskins showed up at my feeders and seemed to check the lay of the land. They left without eating any seeds. <br>
About 15min later 11 Siskens showed up and took over two of our feeders. <br>
The question is; do siskins send out scouts to look for safe feeding spots? Or am I just reading too much into the sequence of events? </p>
