As I ate lunch I looked out and saw a single PISI was at one of my (newly) filled sunflower feeders, along with House Finches. The thistle feeders are nearly empty (and I have run out), so there were only a couple of goldfinches there, but last weekend the PISI's were feedeing on both sunflower and thistle seeds.

I have out a nyjer feeder, a pure suet feeder, and a mesh sunflower feeder. My
iskins only used the sunflower feeder as I watched today (BTW,they are still
here, yea)! Although, they have usedthe thistle feeder also, in past years.

Could someone please advise on siskin-friendly feeders, that would also keep

Since my house is only a couple of miles from the Coskren's, I checked out the
eeder activity in my back yard to see if I had any Siskins. I have not seen any
iskins yet, but, I did have a M&F Purple Finch and a Yellow- Bellied Sapsucker.
n the last week, I have had a great migration in my yard. I had a Brown
reeper, Red-Breasted Nut Hatch, and Hairy Woodpecker. I had a Golden-Crowned
inglet about 2 weeks ago, and my White-Throated Sparrows returned on Oct. 18.
OMG, I am still sitting by the window, and two Pine Siskins flew to my feeder.
