I have to be quick, but I wanted to post about my birding today in
Charles County with my brothers Mike and Tom. The big highlight was a
very late WHITE-EYED VIREO. The bird was seen around Allens Fresh on the
south side of Budds Creek Road near Edgewater Road. Jim Stasz originally
showed me this spot as a good place to find White-crowned Sparrows.

Some of the other highlights were 8 Cattle Egrets near Benedict, 9+
Black Scoters seen from Cobb Island, a Lincoln's Sparrow in the same
area as the vireo, and Purple Finches and Siskins at various stops.
