Just wanted to add my own late report from the Eastern Shore for
Monday.

On the Blackwater wildlife loop on Monday highlights were a flock
of 15 Long-billed Dowitchers (took off as soon as I got out of my
car), a late Pectoral Sandpiper which also flew away, one No.
Shoveler, and over 200 No. Pintail.

At Irish Grove Sanctuary there was a Sedge Wren near the "Stasz
Lookout" sign. At the end of Rumbly Point Road there were Brown
Pelicans and two large, distant strongly backlit perched terns
which I believed to be Caspian--but couldn't see much more than a
silhouette. It's quite late for these guys, however, so if anyone
else saw them better I'd appreciate confirmation. No sign of the
Longspur reported last week. (Others reported Nelson's Sparrows,
but I only saw Saltmarsh).

Good birding!
