I was at Irvine from 3:15 til about 4:15 today. I ran into another birder on her way out who told me that everyone had tanked on finding the shrikes today. My efforts were no more successful then anyone elses. Maybe the birds will resume their normal activities tomorrow after the winds from today have abated?
