While out in the yard today, I heard swans on three occasions at widely spaced intervals - the last @5:40 this evening.  With the white tracey clouds filling the sky, it was impossible to pick them up.  I looked for a time to see if i might spot a flock against the moon, but gave it up after 10 minutes.
